What is EFT?
Emotional Freedom Technique, or EFT, is a technique used to reduce emotional distress,
and to balance the body's energy system. This simple tapping procedure is based on meridian
therapies such as acupressure and acupuncture. It is a non-invasive procedure.
EFT draws upon theories of energy psychology, which contend that disruptions in the
body's electrical system are related to negative psychological states and physical problems.
Unlike traditional psychotherapy, this technique can be learned quickly and practiced
in one's daily life to facilitate emotional and spiritual healing.
Anxieties, depression, trauma, PTSD, phobias, addictions, anger and other issues are
addressed through the use of EFT.
It can be used in conjunction with art therapy, or as a separate healing technique.
I have an EFT-CC (Emotional freedom Technique Certificate of Completion).
Phone sessions are also available.
What is an ATR-BC?
An ATR-BC means that I am a Registered, Board Certified Art Therapist
with the Art Therapy Credentials Board, the national licensing board for art therapists.
What is an EFT-CC?
An EFT-CC is an Emotional Freedom Technique Certificate of Completion,
demonstrating tested knowledge of the theories and practice of EFT.
